Yoann Becker officially joins Strasbourg first-team squad

Strasbourg have added 17-year-old centre-back Yoann Becker to their first-team squad, the academy graduate now part of the senior group.

According to L'Équipe, he is now officially integrated into the professional set-up.

Becker was listed on six matchday squads last season without making an appearance.

The 1.96m defender also started summer friendlies against Freiburg and Newcastle.

He was introduced to the first-team dressing room by Hugo Oliveira on Wednesday morning.

Developed by the club that believes strongly in him, he signed his first professional contract on 31 January and is a France U17 international.
