After 14 years under Didier Deschamps, the France national team embarks on a new era this Friday with Zinédine Zidane at the helm.
The newly appointed head coach has named his first squad for the opening fixtures of the Nations League.

In a 23-man squad, Zidane has handed senior debuts to five youngsters who impressed with the Olympic side: goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, full-back Andy Diouf, defender Jérémy Jacquet, midfielder Lucas Da Cunha and forward Esteban Lepaul.
The core of the group remains familiar, built largely around those who featured at the recent World Cup, including leading lights Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Michael Olise and Désiré Doué. Several established names from that tournament have been left out, among them Lucas Digne, Lucas Hernandez, N'Golo Kanté, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Maghnes Akliouche, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Marcus Thuram.
Zidane’s first international window in charge comprises four matches, with France due to face Turkey, Italy and Belgium twice in the early rounds of the Nations League.
