Barcelona place €30-40m price-tag on midfield star | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have made known their demands to part with midfield starlet Marc Casadó this summer. This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana are willing to come to the negotiation table for an offer exceeding €30 million.

Casadó is of course widely expected to be on the move before the summer transfer window is out.

After tumbling down the engine room pecking order in Hansi Flick’s squad this past season, the 22-year-old has accepted the fact that his future now lies away from the Spotify Camp Nou.

All told, this past season, Casadó was afforded just 15 starts across all competitions.

Deco and co, in turn, have long been working to find a potential landing spot for the talented midfielder, keen to make use of the funds from his sale on further signings in the attacking third.

And as alluded to above, this week, an insight into the price-tag placed on Casadó’s head has been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, who report that:

‘Given his youth and the fact that he’s a product of La Masia, Barça believe they can get between 30 and 40 million euros. At least that’s the initial asking price.’
