With just two months remaining before the season comes to an end, Barcelona have made an important decision with regards to their goalscoring department.
According to ESPN, the club have chosen their favourite between Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski.
Indeed, it appears Barcelona are ready to sacrifice Torres in the coming summer, while renewing the contract of Lewandowski.
ESPN adds that Barcelona are ready to listen to offers for Torres, who has struggled to find goals since the turn of the year.
Torres’ last goal came way back in January, and keeping that in mind, the club are ready to sell him in order to fund further transfers.
At the same time, Barça are ready to keep hold of Lewandowski for another year. Although the Pole hasn’t had a great season either, he has appeared far more reliable than Torres.

Barcelona’s idea is to sign Julian Alvarez as their main frontman this summer and allow him to lead the frontline next season.
Lewandowski is expected to serve as a backup, signing a one-year deal that may include a significant salary cut.
As for Torres, he will be allowed to leave so that Barcelona can generate fresh revenue and cut down on their wage bill. His sale could go a long way in helping Barcelona fund the move for Alvarez.
Barcelona might also look to include Ferran in a potential player-plus-cash deal for Alvarez, although it remains to be seen whether or not Atletico Madrid are interested in the former Manchester City striker, whose lack of consistency could be a deterring factor.
