According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona summer signing Roony Bardghji remains calm and optimistic about his situation, even though he is yet to be officially registered with the first team.

The 19-year-old forward is not entertaining the idea of leaving the club, despite having offers, and only sees his future in a Barcelona shirt this season.

The Swedish talent has already impressed manager Hansi Flick during pre-season. His performances and attitude convinced the German coach that he can play an important role in the campaign ahead.

Despite the bureaucratic obstacles the club faces in registering him, Bardghji is fully focused on Barcelona and is not considering a loan move elsewhere.

Bardghji’s commitment clear

Bardghji has already shown his desire to adapt quickly to life at the club. On Friday, he featured for Barça Atletic in a friendly against Atletic Lleida in a 3-2 victory for the Blaugrana.

Sources close to the player have told MD that Bardghji is confident everything will be resolved.

He is optimistic that the club will find a way to register him as a first-team player, even though he already holds a contract with the reserve side.

For Bardghji, the only scenario that matters is playing and contributing at Barça this season.

Barcelona working to clear space

The club is aware of the urgency of the situation. Barcelona are pushing to make room in the squad, not only for Bardghji but also for youngsters Gerard Martin and Wojciech Szczesny.

Their plan involves using the €7 million guarantee approved by the board of directors, while also relying on possible departures.

Players such as Inaki Pena, Oriol Romeu, and Hector Fort could be moved on to ease the registration pressure.

For Bardghji, the wait has done little to dampen his motivation. He is determined to contribute to Flick’s project and play a role in another successful season for Barcelona.
