Sunderland could face a testing summer as interest mounts in Brian Brobbey and Noah Sadiki.
The Independent reports that Bayern Munich are monitoring Brobbey ahead of the window. The 24-year-old joined from Ajax last summer for around £17million, a fee that could rise to £21.5million with add-ons.
He has six goals in 25 appearances, but it is his physicality, movement and leadership of the line that have drawn attention. The Netherlands forward featured at Euro 2024 and is pushing for a World Cup place, which could further lift his value.
There is no indication Sunderland are willing sellers, though any formal approach could test that stance given the club’s development model. TEAMtalk claims Manchester United face strong competition for Sadiki, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton among those credited with interest.
Sadiki arrived from Union SG for around £15million last summer and has made 27 Premier League appearances. The 21-year-old DR Congo international has become central to Régis Le Bris’ midfield, underpinning a push towards the top half, and he is on a long-term deal. Sunderland could therefore be braced for offers for both this summer, putting sporting director Florent Ghisolfi centre stage.
