Betis meet Valencia at La Cartuja on Sunday, the hosts dogged by doubts while their visitors have finally put together two wins.
According to Superdeporte, Manuel Pellegrini's side currently have nine absences for the fixture, though some could yet try to make it. Before that, they face Feyenoord in Europe on Thursday for a place in the UEFA Europa League top 8, and even a win could still not be enough, so they cannot hold anything back.
Natan is the latest to join the list after a fifth booking at Alavés in Mendizorroza, cautioned around the 35th minute for a firm challenge on Toni Martínez. The centre-back has been starting alongside Marc Bartra and will be suspended.
There are eight injuries, namely Héctor Bellerín, Junior Firpo, Aitor Ruibal, Amrabat, Isco, Lo Celso, Rodrigo Riquelme and Cucho Hernández. Ruibal, Bellerín, Riquelme and Lo Celso are serious doubts for Sunday.
With Cucho Hernández, their most in-form striker, sidelined, Betis are scouring the market for a dependable striker. For now they only have Bakambu or Chimy Ávila, both listed for transfer and with offers, and neither would leave without a replacement ready.
Further absences could yet arise in Thursday's tie, three days before Carlos Corberán's side arrive.
