Leeds United will entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Saturday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites managed to secure a narrow 2-1 win over Manchester United recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game.

Daniel Farke will set his players up in a 3-4-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this clash. Hence, Dominic Calvert-Lewin will once again lead the charge for the Yorkshire outfit up top.

Defence

Karl Darlow will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after he conceded one goal in his last outing. Leeds will opt for a back three of Pascal Struijk, Jaka Bijol and James Justin as they focus on keeping things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Sebastiaan Bornauw will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu will anchor the midfield for the West Yorkshire club as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

Gabriel Gudmundsson will try to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player, while Jayden Bogle looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Sean Longstaff and Ilia Gruev will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes.

Attack

Noah Okafor will look to make a difference on the left flank, while Brenden Aaronson looks to put his pace to good use on the right wing. Both of them will focus on getting behind the Wolves’ backline at every chance they can get.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will spearhead Leeds’ attack up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Lukas Nmecha and Joel Piroe will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Whites are in need of a goal by then.
