Chandrel Massanga sent a powerful message on the eve of the match between Congo and Tanzania, scheduled for Friday, September 5, 2025, in Brazzaville. The midfielder declared that the national team is aiming for victory without worrying about who the opponent is.
The 26-year-old attacker spoke after the Red Devils' training session on Wednesday, just two days before kick-off for matchday seven of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Congolese player emphasized the importance of winning at home, stressing that the squad remains focused on the main objective: securing all three points.
Congo currently sits fifth in Group E with zero points. A win against Tanzania would give the team a much-needed boost. "We don't care about the opponent, we're at home, and we have to win by any means necessary," declared Chandrel Massanga.
