A construction worker at the Nou Mestalla was taken by ambulance to a Valencia hospital after a fall early in the afternoon. He suffered a blow to the head during the incident.
El Desmarque reports that the fall followed the worker’s fear that a load might come down on him, which did not happen, and his instinctive reaction caused the fall.

Safety protocols at the site were activated and two ambulances arrived promptly.
After an initial assessment, serious injury was ruled out and the worker was said to be in good condition following a medical review.
Valencia monitored his condition throughout the afternoon. Footage on social media showed ambulances reaching the Nou Mestalla site.
