Corinthians learn Magnus quarter-final fixtures in the LNF

The National Futsal League (LNF) officially announced this Sunday, the 26th, the dates and times for the quarter-final matches between Corinthians and Magnus. The first game will take place on November 4th, at 9 PM (Brasília time), at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium in São Paulo, while the decision for the spot will be on the 11th, also at 9 PM, at the Sorocaba Arena.

Corinthians reached the quarter-finals after eliminating Carlos Barbosa in the round of 16. In the first leg, held in the South, the teams drew 1-1. The decisive match was at Wlamir Marques, where Timão won 2-1, with goals from Luisinho and Deives. The opponent scored in the final minutes, but Corinthians confirmed their qualification, with an outstanding performance by goalkeeper Lucas Oliveira.

In the quarter-finals, however, the home advantage will be reversed. Having finished third in the initial phase, Magnus secured the advantage of deciding this phase at home – Timão finished in sixth place. If they advance in the match, the Alvinegro will face Campo Mourão or Praia Clube in the national competition's semi-final.

On the other side of the bracket, teams Cascavel, Atlântico, Joinville, and Jaraguá are competing for a spot in the grand final. It is worth remembering that Corinthians is seeking their third title in the LNF, having won the 2016 and 2022 editions. In the current season, the team is also competing for the Campeonato Paulista title – they are currently in the quarter-finals.
