Corinthians ‘make enquiry’ for Arthur Cabral, Botafogo striker

Corinthians have approached the representatives of Botafogo striker Arthur Cabral, exploring a move for the 2026 season. Initial contact was made in recent hours.

Talks are at an early stage, with no formal offer or deal structure on the table. ESPN reports that Corinthians made the enquiry.

Focused on the Conmebol Libertadores, the club are seeking reinforcements for their squad and are monitoring Cabral’s situation.

A Ceará academy product, Cabral has played for Palmeiras, Basel, Fiorentina and Benfica. He joined Botafogo last year and has six goals and four assists in 40 games.

Dorival Júnior currently has Yuri Alberto, Memphis Depay, Gui Negão, Pedro Raul, Vitinho, Kaio César, Kayke and Jesse Lingard among his options. He still wants another forward, particularly if Yuri Alberto leaves in the mid-season window.
