Giants collide in huge last-eight clash at the Etihad Stadium
Pep Guardiola’s men are looking to win another piece of silverware this season after beating Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final last month.
They sit second in the Premier League table, nine points adrift of the Gunners at the summit with eight games to play.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have underwhelmed in their title defence, scrapping for Champions League qualification.
The Reds are fifth in the league, which would put them on-course to reach Europe’s premier competition, but Chelsea are hot on their heels in pursuit.
Now, however, both sides turn their attentions to the FA Cup, with another piece of domestic silverware up for grabs come May.
It would do both managers a world of good - if Guardiola were to win a domestic double despite losing the league to Arsenal, that could, in theory, be seen as a success, while Liverpool are still in contention for both the FA Cup and the Champions League despite their disappointing league campaign to date.
Mohamed Salah is set to return for the Reds after a muscle injury forced him out of their 2-1 defeat by Brighton last time out, as well as the recent international break with Egypt.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports. Coverage starts at 11.30am BST on TNT Sports 1.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the HBO Max app and website.
