Inter Milan are keeping a close eye on the development of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, who has quickly become one of the standout performers during his loan spell at Pisa.
The Nigerian midfielder has impressed both in Serie A and on the international stage with Nigeria, drawing growing attention back in Milan.
Inter’s interest is no coincidence, as the club carefully structured his move last summer with a clear long-term plan in mind.
According to Calciomercato.com, Inter handled Akinsanmiro’s loan differently from similar deals involving young players in recent years.

The Nerazzurri agreed to include a €7 million purchase option in favour of Pisa, but crucially protected themselves with a very low buy-back clause.
That decision reflected the belief within Viale della Liberazione that Akinsanmiro possessed qualities capable of accelerating his rise.
That confidence now appears justified. Based on his performances this season, Akinsanmiro’s market value has already reached, and arguably exceeded, €6 million, making Inter’s right of counter-redemption increasingly valuable.
The operation is therefore viewed as almost automatic from Inter’s perspective.
Should Pisa exercise their option, the Nerazzurri would still retain full control over the midfielder’s future at a modest cost, allowing them either to reintegrate him into the first team or leverage his growth strategically on the market.
