Leeds finalise Elland Road tribute to Marcelo Bielsa as Bielsa Place completed | OneFootball

Leeds United have completed Bielsa Place at Elland Road, a permanent landmark honouring supporters and former head coach Marcelo Bielsa. The final legacy stones have been set on the East Stand next to the reception area.

The club said in a statement that the area celebrates the fanbase and honours the manager who brought belief, passion and top-flight football back to Leeds United. It includes a marble replica of his bucket and a stone silhouette from one of his iconic images.

In total, 1,777 stones have been laid in the new section and 673 supporter names are displayed.

Bielsa Place was introduced alongside Howard's Way as two new Legacy Stones sections for supporters to purchase. Howard's Way is currently expected to be installed between the end of July and the start of August.

All Legacy Stones are now sold out online.
