Leeds United confirm USA tour squad, four absentees as Noah Okafor given extended break | OneFootball

Leeds United have named their travelling party for a pre-season tour of the United States, omitting Largie Ramazani, Joe Gelhardt, Max Wober and Jack Harrison. The Whites will face Wrexham, Sunderland and Liverpool.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke's group will be based at Red Bull's new training facility in Morristown, New Jersey, and will head to Tampa and Chicago for the Wrexham and Liverpool matches.

Noah Okafor is not included, having been given an extended break after Switzerland reached the World Cup quarter-finals. Pre-season shirt numbers will not necessarily reflect the numbers used once the Premier League begins.

Valencia, where Ramazani spent last season on loan, retain interest. He made 27 appearances, scoring six and creating one. The 25-year-old is almost certain to leave, and a permanent move has been discussed, though no agreement is in place.

Gelhardt helped Hull City to promotion while on loan and last played for Leeds in October 2024. Whether he returns to the Tigers is unclear, but his future lies elsewhere.

Wober endured an injury-hit year at Werder Bremen, which appears to have cooled appetite for a permanent deal. He had hoped to feature in pre-season, but his omission suggests he could also depart.

Harrison has reportedly held talks with New England Revolution. He left on loan for Fiorentina in January, and a permanent Serie A switch has yet to materialise.

The squad features senior players, Under-21s and others who will join later after World Cup duty.
