Leeds United monitor rivals as Brighton sell Jan Paul van Hecke and Tottenham, Newcastle United add keepers

Leeds United have yet to make a first signing, while rivals are already active ahead of 2026-27.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Nottingham Forest are set to lose their star man in a record deal, with goalkeeper changes at Newcastle United and Tottenham, who now have four new arrivals including a defender.
Arsenal made Piero Hincapie’s loan permanent from Bayer Leverkusen for £p25m. Jakub Kiwior joined Porto after his loan, and Karl Hein moved to Werder Bremen. Samuel Onyekachukwu was among eight players released.
Aston Villa agreed a pre-contract for Modou Keba Cisse from LASK. Bournemouth appointed Marco Rose as head coach and made no signings. Marcos Senesi will join Tottenham as his contract expires, Michael Dacosta Gonzalez has gone to Moreirense, Hamed Traore to Marseille, and Andoni Iraola left for Liverpool.
Brentford have signed Jannik Schuster from Red Bull Salzburg for £p17.2m. Reiss Nelson has returned to Arsenal after his loan and Ryan Trevitt was released. Brighton have added Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm for £p21.5m and Costinha from Olympiacos for £p11m.
Brighton departures include Jan Paul van Hecke to Tottenham for £p52m. James Milner is retiring. Joel Veltman, Solly March and Adam Webster are leaving as contracts expire.
Chelsea have made no signings, although Xabi Alonso has been appointed head coach. Marc Cucurella has joined Real Madrid for £p51.8m and Jimmy-Jay Morgan has moved to West Brom for £p4m.
