Leeds United supporters turned out in force for Friday night’s meeting with already relegated Burnley, enjoying rare spring heat. A win would have moved United nine points clear of third-bottom Tottenham Hotspur, leaving survival within reach.

The occasion came five days after the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, with fans back under the lights for the final home night of the season.

Temperatures hovered around 25 degrees, many arrived in shorts and T-shirts, and the stands became a sea of yellow, white and blue.

The attendance was 36,265.

The selection features three generations of travelling support from Norway, plenty of pints being enjoyed and a lengthy queue at Graveleys fish and chips.
