Juventus are close to agreeing a new long-term deal with one of their most valuable assets as they look to re-establish themselves among Europe’s elite, according to Tutto Sport. Talks have been ongoing for months, with both sides “optimistic of finding an agreement soon.”
The report states that the Italian club hope to extend the player’s contract until 2030, with an additional one-year option. However, negotiations remain delicate, with “around half a million” separating the two parties. Juventus’ proposal sits at approximately €4.5 million per year including bonuses, which would make the player the fourth-highest earner in the squad, behind Vlahovic, Bremer and David.

The Turin side value their young star at €100 million, a fee described by Tutto Sport as “well within reach” for several Premier League sides, including Man Utd Chelsea and Arsenal, who have both registered interest. Yet, despite that, Juventus remain calm. The report adds, “Yildiz only wants Juventus,” with optimism within the club that the extension will be finalised soon.
Club officials, however, are cautious. They recognise that securing their key players is about more than contracts, describing this renewal as “the first real step in shaping the new Juventus project.”
This story underlines a broader challenge across European football: elite young talents committing early to their clubs rather than testing Premier League waters. For United fans, the admiration for Juventus’ conviction is mixed with envy, especially given United’s ongoing need for a creative, goal-scoring midfielder.
United supporters know that €100 million for a 19-year-old talent would represent a gamble, yet it is precisely this type of investment that defines modern football’s hierarchy. Clubs like Juventus are positioning themselves smartly, protecting assets early to avoid external pressure later.
If Chelsea or Arsenal were to make a move, United fans would expect their club to at least monitor developments. The profile fits the direction of the new sporting structure: young, versatile, technically confident, and ambitious.
Still, there is respect among supporters for Juventus’ stance. Holding firm, refusing to sell, and shaping a long-term vision around a young leader represents the kind of clarity United crave. For all the financial power of the Premier League, Juventus’ quiet resolve sends a strong message about how to rebuild with purpose.
