Aurelien Tchouameni is one of the most talked-about Real Madrid players in recent days, especially after his training-ground bust-up with Federico Valverde.

Involved in a physical altercation after what is widely reported to be Valverde’s unprofessional conduct, Tchouameni’s fight with the captain saw the Uruguayan star hospitalised and diagnosed with a ‘traumatic brain injury.’

With all the turmoil around his situation at Real Madrid, rumours are now beginning to arise once more about the player’s future at the club.

Interest from England

As reported by Fabrizio Romano in a recent update, Manchester United are ‘in love’ with Tchouameni and appreciate his quality in the middle of the park.

They see him as a fundamental piece in Real Madrid’s setup who would perfectly fit into their style of play, just as Casemiro did years ago when he made the switch from Madrid to Manchester.

The Red Devils see Tchouameni as one of the best in the business in his position and are interested in making a move for him. Real Madrid’s stance, however, complicates their pursuit.

Despite all the turmoil linked with the Frenchman’s name in recent days and times, Los Blancos have not opened the door for an exit for him and keep him in their plans.

After all, he is a reliable presence in midfield and has never shown anything but loyalty towards the club’s crest. Even the recent fight is largely believed to be more of Valverde’s fault than his.

What remains to be seen, however, is whether the recent bust-up changes Tchouameni’s mind about staying, especially given how such an incident can mentally stir up any individual.

For now, Tchouameni’s immediate focus would be on bettering his public image, and once that happens, he can aim to redeem his mistakes.
