MILAN FUTURO BACK ON TRACK: 3-2 AGAINST FOLGORE CARATESE | OneFootball

After three consecutive losses, Milan Futuro are back to winning in the best way possible, putting on a dominant display against one of Serie D Group B's top teams, Folgore Caratese. At the Sportitalia Village in Carate Brianza, Oddo's side won 3-2 following 90 exhilarating and action-packed minutes. After being a goal down following a Tremolada penalty, the Rossoneri made a comeback and took the lead in the first 30 minutes with goals from captain Duțu, then Ibrahimović. Finally, the decisive third goal came in the second half with Branca, after Gjonaj's short-lived equaliser. 

A very important result, coming at the end of 90 great minutes against a quality and experienced opponent. The Rossoneri created lots of opportunities, handling the Brianzioli's attempts to get back into the game well by staying focused and organised in defence. Great performances across the board after previous games where our efforts hadn't been fully rewarded. The result serves as the perfect boost heading into the next two home fixtures. First, the rescheduled Coppa Italia Round of 64 match on Wednesday 29, against Varesina, followed by the tenth league game, once again at Chinetti, against Oltrepò. Forza Milan Futuro!

MATCH REPORT The Rossoneri, who were playing in their Third Kit, began energetically, leading from the front: in the eighth minute, Perina came close to opening the scoring with a deflected shot in the box. The hosts responded, and in the 10th minute, Torriani got a hand to Muzio's header, sending it wide. From the resulting corner, Minotti's foul on Caldirola earned Folgore Caratese a penalty, which Tremolada converted. The Rossoneri responded perfectly, immediately, with an equaliser in the 15th minute through Duțu, who nodded the ball home from the centre of the box off a corner. Following the dramatic start, the pace settled, but Milan Futuro doubled their lead in the 27th minute with a precise right-footed strike from Ibrahimović. The Rossoneri continued pressing forward, but in the 36th minute, Folgore equalised thanks to an impressive goal from Gjonaj that Torriani could do nothing about. The first half ended with a brilliant save from Minotti, denying Binous' close-range effort. 

The second half began without any substitutions, and in the 48th minute, Sala's corner forced a save from Salvalaggio. Just three minutes later, Torriani denied Castellano's attempt, but the Rossoneri continued pressing with determination. Fresh legs were brought on, and one of them, Branca, scored the third goal in the 59th minute with a precise diagonal finish, following a rebound off the crossbar from Domniței's effort. The renewed lead spurred the hosts into action, who pushed forward, creating openings for Oddo's side to launch dangerous counters. Folgore came close with Samotti and Caldirola on set pieces, but ultimately couldn't cause any trouble for Torriani. In the 84th minute, Branca had another chance from a good position but couldn't generate enough power on his left-footed shot. In the closing moments, Milan Futuro held their own, and after four minutes of added time, celebrated their return to victory.
