Barcelona have on Sunday been officially crowned La Liga champions for the 2nd successive occasion.
This comes after the Blaugrana put bitter rivals Real Madrid to the sword in the season’s final edition of El Clásico.
Hansi Flick’s troops acted as hosts a short time ago, welcoming Real to the Spotify Camp Nou in the knowledge that anything other than defeat would see them retain their status as Spanish champions.
And when all was said and done, two first-half goals proved enough to ensure precisely as much.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in spectacular fashion courtesy of a rasping free-kick, before a moment of magic on the part of Dani Olmo teed Ferran Torres up to put the final nail in the coffin of the visitors.
Now 14 points clear atop the table with just three rounds of fixtures remaining, Barca have in turn secured the La Liga title for the latest occasion.
Congratulations!
