Palmeiras list six absentees for clássico against Santos | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, Palmeiras will be without six players for the clássico against Santos on Wednesday at Arena Barueri, kick-off 19:30, in the second round of the Paulistão.

The absentees are left-back Jefté, muscle oedema, midfielders Figueiredo, ACL, Lucas Evangelista, right hamstring tendon injury, and Felipe Anderson, sprained left ankle, plus forwards Facundo Torres, muscle injury, and Paulinho, a stress fracture of the right tibia.

Forward Vitor Roque is a doubt after a minor sprain, while Flaco López has recovered from flu. Abel Ferreira’s side have a likely XI of Carlos Miguel, Khellven, Fuchs, with Murilo an option, Gómez and Piquerez, Emiliano Martínez, Marlon Freitas and Andreas Pereira, Veiga, Flaco López and Vitor Roque, with Bruno Rodrigues an alternative.

For Santos, the staff welcome back attacking midfielder Barreal, who has been cleared and registered for the Paulistão, and midfielder Zé Rafael, after conjunctivitis. The club are also working to regularise midfielder Gabriel Menino, announce him on social media and register him for the state competition at the last minute.

Out injured for the Peixe are attacking midfielder Bontempo, still recovering from septoplasty and now with muscle oedema in the left thigh. Attacking midfielder Neymar continues rehabilitation after arthroscopy, and forward Tiquinho Soares is sidelined with oedema in the left calf.
