Jordan Pickford has signed a brand new deal at Everton to extend his lengthy stay at the Toffees even further.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has renewed his contract with the the club and signed a new deal until 2029.
Pickford is close to completing a decade with Everton. Signed in the 2017/18 season from Sunderland, the Englishman has been the club's starting goalkeeper for nine years.
So far, the goalkeeper has made 326 appearances for the club. His consistency at Everton has earned Pickford a spot in the English national team, where he has accumulated 80 caps and this week confirmed his qualification for his third World Cup as a starter.
Speaking to the club's in-house media, Pickford said: "I'm delighted. Delighted to get it done – it's an extra two years, so four years in total. I'm over the moon and it gives me the opportunity to build a legacy for myself here, move forward and build this Club to where we want to be.
"Everton is a really special club to me. Coming from Sunderland as a young lad and growing into a man here, it's been a special time for me and my family."
Pickford will likely be in between the sticks for Everton again on Saturday when David Moyes' side face a tough trip to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City.
