Premier League confirm 3pm Sunday slot for Leeds United v Brighton

Leeds United's final home match of the Premier League season, against Brighton, is a 3pm kick-off on Sunday, May 17 at Elland Road. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the shift to Sunday follows the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, May 16, with league fixtures moved to avoid a clash.

Leeds, beaten 1-0 by Chelsea in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final, have no other commitments that weekend. Daniel Farke’s side will hope to have safety secured by then, allowing for a more relaxed Elland Road farewell.

Sky will carry four games in that window, none involving a relegation rival.

Nottingham Forest are due at Manchester United on either the Friday night or Sunday lunchtime, depending on their Europa League progress. West Ham visit Newcastle on Sunday at 5.30pm. The round is also staggered by Manchester City and Chelsea’s FA Cup final commitments.
