Report – Inter Milan Preparing Summer Bid For Atalanta Midfielder | OneFootball

Inter Milan have reportedly not dropped their interest in Atalanta midfielder Ederson despite their failed attempt to sign him last summer.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could launch a new bid for the Brazilian star next summer.

Ederson emerged as a genuine target for Inter during the summer transfer window.

However, Atalanta refused to sell their first-team stalwart, just as they did in the case of Ademola Lookman.

Therefore, Inter signed Andy Diouf from Lens, but the move has not panned out, forcing the club to revisit their interest in Ederson.

Inter were reportedly willing to offer up to €60 million to lure Ederson to San Siro.

Yet, Atalanta had no interest in offloading the 26-year-old, quickly rebuffing the Nerazzurri’s approach.

Undeterred by that failure, Inter are weighing up a new bid for the former Salenitana man, whose contract in Bergamo expires in 2027.

Atalanta might change their mind at the end of the season, considering it could be their final chance to cash in on their prized asset.
