According to Globo.com, Rossi, Paquetá and Ayrton Lucas received the lowest marks as Flamengo finished Recopa runners-up with a 3-2 loss to Lanús, and the title slipped because of the first-leg approach.

Lanús struck first after Ayrton Lucas underhit a backpass to Rossi, who slipped, allowing Castillo to advance and score from range. Flamengo levelled when Arrascaeta converted a penalty for handball after Varela’s cross struck Carrera.

After the break, Arrascaeta won another penalty and Jorginho converted to put Flamengo 2-1 up. Lanús equalised through Canale, with Paquetá and Jorginho slow to track the runner.

Extra time brought a headed chance for Bruno Henrique that went wide and a vital recovery run from Ayrton Lucas. In the final action, an Erick Pulgar error preceded the visitors’ winner. Of Lanús’ four efforts on target, three found the net.

Léo Pereira and Danilo were praised for assured defending and distribution. Varela created the first penalty but was erratic on the ball, while Pedro and Carrascal squandered presentable openings. Everton impressed with late industry on the right, but Losada turned his tight-angle effort behind.
