Russell Martin and Slaven Bilic are among the names linked with the West Bromwich Albion job following the sacking of Eric Ramsay.

Former Minnesota United manager Ramsay lasted just nine games in charge of the Baggies but was sacked after failing to win a single game with a record of four draws and five defeats in total.

The club have announced that James Morrison will once again oversee first team affairs in the interim and the former player is also the bookies' favourite to land the role permanently meaning that the Scot is likely to be rewarded if he ensures West Brom don't drop down to League One.

Other names linked with the job include Russell Martin, who has been without a job since his brief unsuccessful stint with Rangers earlier in the season.

Croatian manager Slaven Bilic has also been linked with the job having previously been linked with the West Ham United job.

Sean Dyche is also available after being sacked by Nottingham Forest earlier in this season, with one bookie putting 6/1 odds on for him to take over at the Hawthorns.

Other names linked to the role include Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was vying with Michael Carrick for the Manchester United interim role earlier this year, as well as Lee Carsley, Michael Skubala, and Will Still.

West Brom are back in action on Saturday when they travel to face fellow strugglers, Oxford United.
