Sunderland, Leeds United and Everton are among the clubs linked with Boca Juniors midfielder Milton Delgado, amid claims of monitoring and European talks involving his representatives.
According to Sportsboom, Boca are willing to allow the 20-year-old to leave this summer, with Sunderland, Leeds United, Everton and Crystal Palace tracking his progress.
Delgado, a Boca academy graduate, is a regular for Argentina Under-20 and a senior call-up is widely expected in the coming years. He has already made more than 50 first-team appearances despite his age.
Udinese and Torino are also interested, as are La Liga pair Real Betis and Getafe. MLS sides Inter Miami and Atlanta United are keen to use a Young Designated Player slot to pursue a deal.
Boca are yet to receive an official or written bid, and the midfielder’s representatives undertook a European tour last month for talks in Spain and England, though the specific clubs were not identified.
Sunderland have broadened their recruitment over the last 12 months, adding Reinildo Mandava, Enzo Le Fee and Granit Xhaka. Swedish goalkeeper Melker Ellborg joined from Malmo to compete with first-choice Robin Roefs, and winger Jocelin Ta Bi arrived from Maccabi Netanya in January.
