Thiago Almada has addressed interest from Flamengo and Palmeiras during the window, indicating he expects to continue at Atlético Madrid.

He said after a Champions League match that there had been many rumours, he stayed calm, focused on his club work and wants to remain. According to Coluna Do Fla, both Brazilian clubs made enquiries for the former Botafogo player, and Flamengo did not submit an official bid as their priority is Lucas Paquetá.

Paquetá now prioritises a return to Flamengo. He is pushing for a release from West Ham to play in Brazil this season.

Flamengo have agreed all contract details with Paquetá, including salary, on a four-year deal. The focus now is securing his release from West Ham.

To date Flamengo have made only one offer, 35 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses, equivalent to R$ 217 million and R$ 31 million respectively. West Ham rejected that proposal and talks between the clubs are continuing.
