Thursday's transfer rumours include Elliot Anderson's massive price tag, Barcelona's stance on Chelsea-target Fermin Lopez, and Arsenal's interest in a double defensive deal.

Nottingham Forest face a fight to hold onto Elliot Anderson this summer, with the midfielder perhaps the most coveted player in the Premier League.

Forest 'expect' Anderson to sign for one of the Manchester clubs if he leaves in the summer, but will demand a record-breaking return.Sky Sports say Forest will push for a fee close to £120m, a sum which would make Anderson the most expensive English footballer of all time.

Despite seeing Barcelona block a previous move forFermin Lopez, Chelsea remain eager to get a deal done. The West Londoners are reportedly prepared to pay €100m (£87m) for Fermin, but Barcelona won't budge. Even amid the club's economic issues, El Nacional say the 22-year-old is considered 'untouchable' at the Camp Nou.

Mikel Arteta wants to add yet more defenders to his sizeable collection.Caught Offside claim that Arsenal are interested in signing Spanish starlets Víctor Valdepeñas and Jacobo Ramon, of Real Madrid and Como respectively, to act as understudies to a defensive unit already bursting at the seams.

There's a transfer tug-of-war emerging forJames Trafford. Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race for the goalkeeper, say TEAMtalk, and are prepared to battle Newcastle for the Manchester City shot-stopper. Unhappy warming the Etihad bench, Trafford's tempted to move on.

Across town,Alejandro Garnacho could be offered an escape route at Chelsea. The winger's move to West London hasn't worked out as hoped, with just one Premier League goal scored all season. TyC Sports say that River Plate are plotting an ambitious move to bring the Argentine home on loan.

Another unsettled Argie keen to quit Chelsea,Enzo Fernandez is ready to slap in a transfer request to speed things up.

El Chiringuito claim Fernandez is prepared to go public in his wish to leave London, with his sights set on Spain. A potential move to Real Madrid is complicated, however, by a €150m (£130m) asking price.
