Mario Gila and Ivan Provedel are being pursued by a few different Serie A teams, but they prioritize Napoli and Inter, respectively. Instead, Alessio Romagnoli hasn’t changed his mind and, after being very close to leaving in January, he’s bound to join Al Sadd for about €3M, Ansa reports.

The goalie would have the chance to be an unquestioned starter elsewhere if he waited for the domino at the position across the league. However, he’s intrigued by the possibility of transferring to San Siro. He cut his teeth in several small clubs before arriving in Rome.

The former is a very intriguing option for several defender-needy sides, especially should his price tag be capped by his contractual situation.
