Vasco near record 35 million euro sale of Rayan to Bournemouth | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Vasco and Bournemouth have agreed the fee and split for Rayan, with a 35 million euros deal being finalised and documents now being exchanged. The figure equates to R$ 220.7 million at current rates.

Vasco will receive about 24 million euros, around R$ 151 million, as the player’s economic rights are shared with his family and agents. The clubs will meet on Wednesday to discuss the payment schedule, and the Rio side want most of the sum up front.

Rayan will travel to England in the coming days for medical tests and to sign a five-year contract.

His wish to move to the Premier League was a significant factor. He told the board he wanted to join Bournemouth and asked not to face Flamengo on Wednesday because of the negotiations.

The transfer will be the biggest sale in Vasco’s history and the eighth largest in Brazilian football.
