According to PaponaColina, Vasco da Gama have set their final transfer plan for the coming weeks. With Rayan’s sale to English football progressing and finances strengthened, the board will look for only three further additions to close the squad.

The first priority is a left-back after Leandrinho’s departure and to provide reliable cover for starter Lucas Piton.

The club also want a midfielder with creativity and physicality to share duties with Coutinho, plus a quick forward. Despite Hinestroza and Brenner arriving, they aim to maintain depth and dribbling options for coach Fernando Diniz.

The hierarchy are focusing on targeted moves rather than volume. Proceeds from Rayan will be used carefully on players ready to compete immediately, raising the level in training and matches.
