Ghana have sacked head coach Otto Addo, 10 weeks before the World Cup.
The decision came hours after a 2-1 friendly defeat to Germany in Stuttgart on Monday, their fourth loss in a row. The Ghana Football Association said in a statement it had parted company with the 50-year-old, thanked him for his contribution, wished him well for the future and would outline the Black Stars' new technical leadership in due course.
Addo had led the national side since March 2024.
Ghana will face Panama on 18 June at 1:00 in Toronto, England on 23 June at 22:00 in Foxborough, and Croatia on 27 June at 23:00 in Philadelphia.
They are in Group L at the tournament, co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July.
