Bayern Munich’s 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen wasn’t without refereeing drama which involved two red cards and two goals ruled out for Germany’s record champions.
Speaking after the game, Vincent Kompany discussed
“We got a red card out of nowhere,” said Kompany. “No discussion about that. However, there’s discussion about Lucho’s red card. I can’t understand it. I’m unhappy with some of the decisions.”
Notably Jonathan Tah’s goal, which was ruled out. “What should he do? The ball bounced off his arm onto his foot, there was no movement. If you played football you know what I’m talking about.” Additionally, Harry Kane also had a goal ruled out. “I can’t understand it either,” added the Belgian.
“For me, it was a clear goal. I don’t know what he should do.
“As I said, I’m proud but there were situations where we can have different opinions.”
