Benfica used social media on Wednesday to post an image inspired by Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX show, promoting their meeting with Santa Clara. According to Glorioso 1904, the post adapted a moment from the halftime performance to build anticipation for matchweek 22.

The caption said the club understood @sanbenito, that everyone was thinking the same. The image shows the Puerto Rican artist holding an American football near the end of his set, during an appeal for unity and the diversity of the Americas.

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl appearance took place in Santa Clara, California, headlining the NFL final’s interval on 8 February. The show featured several guests, celebrated the performers’ cultural elements and drew heavy coverage across social platforms and the international press.

Back at Benfica, the squad returned to work at Seixal as preparations continued for the trip to the Azores. The session included the returns of Alexander Bah and Richard Ríos.

Benfica visit Santa Clara on 13 February in Liga Portugal Betclic matchweek 22. Kick-off is 18:30 at Estádio de São Miguel against the side coached by Petit.
