Besiktas are keen to sign Lorenzo Lucca, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, creating a fresh negotiating front with Benfica after recent tension over Rafa Silva.
Benfica had targeted the Italian striker to bolster their attack, but Napoli’s financial demands stalled talks, leaving a switch to the Estádio da Luz off the table for now.
Napoli sought a €37 million package for Lucca, comprising a €2 million loan fee and a €35 million mandatory purchase clause. Benfica considered that level excessive and declined to proceed on those terms.
Separately, Benfica are trying to bring back Rafa Silva, but Besiktas want €15 million, a price the Portuguese side will not pay. The player is unhappy in Türkiye and is pushing to leave, increasing tension between the clubs.
This season with Napoli, Lucca, valued at €25 million, has made 21 appearances, 15 in Serie A, 4 in the Champions League, 1 in the Super Cup and 1 in the Coppa Italia. Across 584 minutes, the forward, under contract until June 2028, has scored 2 goals.
