Liverpool are planning big changes on the wings this summer.

Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola are among the names reported to be under consideration by the Premier League champions’ management.

Arne Slot and Richard Hughes are looking for one-v-one quality out wide following a disappointing season. Pace and dribbling ability will be foremost in Reds’ decision-makers’ thinking with significant outgoings also in the works.

Federico Chiesa tipped to leave

And he could well be joined on the exit ramp by Federico Chiesa.

The 28-year-old Italian has simply failed to make a positive impression on Arne Slot throughout his time at Anfield. Signed from Juventus for £12m back in September 2024 the winger has only ever managed to be a bit-part player.

And while teams in Serie A would happy take the £150k per week forward back home should his wage demands drop there is another club now linked with talks.

Besiktas are coming off the back of a very disappointing Turkish Super Lig season - with negotiations over a deal for Chiesa now scheduled.

That’s according to a report in FANATIK which claims a full dossier on Chiesa has been prepared by the Istanbul giants.

“The Black and White management is interested in the player who plays for Liverpool. Federico Chiesa,” the report reads.

“It has been learned that [the club] is closely following the player and has prepared a comprehensive report on his situation.

“Official contact is expected to begin at the end of the season for the Italian footballer, for whom head coach Sergen Yalçın has previously expressed a positive opinion.”

Chiesa is under contract until 2028 on Merseyside but it would be a surprise to see him last beyond this summer. Slot has used him mostly as a closer and the Italy wide man has only started one Premier League game all season.
