Leeds United have received renewed betting faith in their Premier League survival bid, even as early FA Cup odds lean towards West Ham. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, bookmakers envisage a potential last laugh for the Whites in the relegation markets.
Daniel Farke’s side have seven league matches left, with top-flight action resuming on the second Monday in April when they visit Manchester United for an 8pm kick-off at Old Trafford. First up after the international break is the FA Cup quarter-final at West Ham on Sunday, 5 April, a 4.30pm start at the London Stadium.
West Ham are in the Premier League’s third relegation spot, four points behind 15th-placed Leeds, yet are marginal favourites for the cup tie. Early prices make the Irons 29-20 in the 90-minute market, Leeds 9-5 and the draw 13-5.
To progress, West Ham are 4-5 with Leeds at evens. In the relegation betting, Leeds are fancied to stay up while West Ham remain third favourites to go down at 5-4, behind Burnley and Wolves who are both 1-200.
Tottenham’s price to be relegated continues to shorten, as short as 5-4 and as big as 9-5, shorter than Nottingham Forest and Leeds. After Forest’s 3-0 win at Tottenham, they are up to 13-2, with Leeds at a best-priced 8-1. There is then a sizeable gap to Crystal Palace at 200-1 and to Sunderland and Brighton at 500s.
