Bournemouth’s Romain Faivre set to join Le Havre | OneFootball

Bournemouth’s Romain Faivre (27) is set to undergo his medical on Tuesday ahead of completing a loan move to Le Havre AC, as per a report from Marc Mechenoua. 

Currently contracted to AFC Bournemouth until 2028, Faivre is on loan at Al-Taawoun, but his stint in Saudi Arabia has proven short-lived. The 27-year-old has made just five appearances since joining in the summer, scoring once, and has not featured since October 23rd.

Auxerre miss out

His loan in the Gulf State will therefore be cut short and Mechenoua understands that Faivre is already en route to France. The former Stade Brestois and Olympique Lyonnais forward is set to undergo his medical and then sign for Les Ciel et Marines on loan until the end of the season. 

Le Havre have beaten Ligue 1 competition to land the Frenchman’s signature. AJ Auxerre, also in the relegation battle, were also in the race.
