Stade Brestois go into their penultimate game of the Ligue 1 season on a run of seven games without a win. They will look to end that run when they host RC Strasbourg Alsace on Wednesday night.
As the end of the season approaches, there is a feeling of the end of a cycle. Grégory Lorenzi, who has been at the club for a decade and who has been one of the architects of Brest’s rise in recent seasons, has already confirmed his exit.
However, despite that, and despite having nothing to play for, Brest will want to end the season on a high. If they are to do so, they will have to do without club captain Brendan Chardonnet, as well as fellow centre-back Soumaila Coulibaly. Bradley Locko is also absent tonight.
Grégoire Coudert; Daouda Guindo, Junior Diaz, Raphael Le Guen, Kenny Lala; Joris Chotard, Hugo Magnetti; Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe, Kamory Doumbia, Romain Del Castillo; Ludovic Ajorque. (L’Éq)
