Mirassol beat Corinthians 2-1 at the Maião on Sunday, snapping a five-match Brasileirão home drought and leaving the visitors still without an away league win since February.
In the 23rd minute, Carlos Eduardo won and converted a penalty after Matheus Bidu's foul. Edson Carioca then glanced in a Carlos Eduardo cross (33.) to give the hosts control.
After the changes, Zakaria Labyad teed up Dieguinho to rifle in from range (80.). Alex Santana headed wide soon after as Timão pressed for a leveller (81.).
Timão had 61.5% possession and 11 attempts, with three on target. Mirassol registered seven attempts and found the target five times.
