Facundo Buonanotte 'set to leave' Brighton amid Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga interest

Argentina-capped midfielder Facundo Buonanotte is set to leave Brighton, with Schalke 04 having made a formal approach and Premier League and La Liga clubs also interested, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 21-year-old joined Leeds on loan from Brighton in January for the rest of the season but played only 82 minutes across four outings.

He came off the bench in January’s Premier League matches against Everton and Arsenal.

He was handed his only start in February’s FA Cup tie at Birmingham City, struggled, and was withdrawn at the break.

His final Leeds appearance was a 12-minute cameo off the bench in the season finale at West Ham, after which he returned to Brighton, where he is under contract until the summer of 2028.
