Palmeiras completed preparations on Saturday for Sunday’s Paulistão match at Botafogo-SP at 20:30 Brasília time, but Felipe Anderson is unavailable after an ankle sprain.

According to Globo.com, the midfielder twisted his left ankle during Friday’s session and, after tests, began treatment with the club’s health and performance department. No return timeframe has been given, and the number seven could miss further games in the coming weeks.

In his absence, the squad worked on build-up play, crossing and finishing, then moved to small-sided drills.

The probable Palmeiras lineup for Sunday features Carlos Miguel in goal, Giay, Bruno Fuchs, Murilo and Jefté or Arthur in defence, Luis Pacheco, Emiliano Martínez and Andreas Pereira in midfield, with Riquelme, Luighi and Vitor Roque in attack.

Lucas Evangelista trained with the group on Saturday under restrictions and remains in physical transition, so he is not yet fit to play.

A win in Ribeirão Preto could secure a place in the Paulistão quarter-finals, provided São Bernardo, Mirassol, Primavera or Capivariano do not win in this round.
