Grêmio have made significant progress in recent hours in negotiations to sign central midfielder Leonel Pérez from Huracán, formalising an offer for his economic rights, according to Radiogol.com.
The Rio Grande do Sul club are focusing on midfield reinforcements and emerging talent, and there are high expectations of a favourable outcome as talks move into their next stages.

Pérez has impressed in Argentine football and is viewed as a strategic addition for Tricolor, given his youth and qualities on the pitch.
It remains to be seen in the coming hours whether the signing of Juan Nardoni stays on the table.
