Iancu Vasilica to referee Benfica v Moreirense at Estádio da Luz

Iancu Vasilica has been appointed to take charge of Benfica v Moreirense in the 31st round of the Liga Portugal Betclic at Estádio da Luz on Saturday. The Portuguese Football Federation’s refereeing committee announced the decision on Wednesday, 22 April.

He will be assisted by João Bessa Silva and Inácio Pereira, with Gonçalo Neves named as fourth official.

From Cidade do Futebol in Oeiras, Manuel Oliveira will act as VAR and David Soares as AVAR.

The appointments list covers both Liga Portugal Betclic and Liga Portugal Meu Super. It also includes João Pinheiro, set for Lusitânia de Lourosa v Paços Ferreira in the second tier after overseeing the derby against Sporting.

Benfica face Moreirense, coached by Vasco Botelho da Costa, at 18:00 on Saturday, 25 April, at Estádio da Luz.
