Serie A giants Juventus could be potentially eyeing Genoa’s Jeff Ekhator for a possible transfer this summer.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Juventus have Genoa striker Jeff Ekhator in their radar and they might ponder over a potential transfer during the summer window. He was scouted by the club’s officials in the Rossoblu’s game against Lecce yesterday and they also kept an eye on Morten Frendrup and Fabio Miretti.
The Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has probed the player for a long time now since his youth days and his promotion to first-team duties on a regular basis have attracted attention.
Ekhator has 21 matches under his belt with the Grifone this season across all competitions, scoring and assisting once each. The 18-year-old has come forward as a revelation for Genoa head coach Patrick Vieira during the campaign and he is going to be a big name in the future provided he gets the right atmosphere to grow.
Genoa are always looking to exploit opportunities in the market and in the case of Ekhator, they hope to land a sizeable cheque due to the player’s age and clinical abilities.
