Juventus have long been preparing to go after Bernardo Silva, who’ll depart Manchester City on a Bosman move. They have sent out their first proposal following his team’s UEFA Champions League elimination, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The Bianconeri are willing to go over the top to convince the Portuguese star to pick them, bending their internal rules about wages and contract lengths. They have informed his agent Jorge Mendes that they can tender a three-year contract, with an option, at a €7/8M annual salary.

Juventus can’t compete financially with other sides eyeing Bernardo Silva, but they can propose a long-term project and a massive role. The playmaker won’t rush his decision. Barcelona, Benfica, Galatasaray, and some Saudi and MLS teams are also pursuing him.

The 31-year-old has registered 76 goals and 77 assists in 448 appearances with Manchester City and has lifted 24 trophies throughout his career, including those with Portugal. The Old Lady threw its hat in the ring, but the race won’t be resolved anytime soon.

The Bianconeri have added another name to their list of free agent targets, Leonardo Spinazzola, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. He’ll try to come to terms with Napoli before listening to the outside offers. The Partenopei have proposed a one-year contract with an option, while the suitors offer longer deals.
