Last season, Gila was linked with several possible destinations, including a potential return to Real Madrid who have a 50% sell-on fee on a future sale. However, Lazio weren’t open to offloading any of their key players last summer after being hit with transfer ban that prevented them from signing replacements.

Nevertheless, the situation could change in the coming months, as the Biancocelesti management is confident about lifting the ban ahead of the January transfer window. Therefore, it remains to be seen if this could pave the way for a major sale to fund the market. If so, then Gila might be a candidate thanks to his growing number of admirers.

According to Caught Offside, Tottenham have added Gila to their January shortlist. The North Londoners could intensify their Serie A shopping, especially following the official return of former Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici to the club.

Nevertheless, the source insists that Lazio aren’t willing to negotiate a deal below €45 million. The same report also reveals interest from Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Everton.
